1. About these terms
These terms apply to every visit to emptymanualco.com and every order placed on it. The site is run by (empty) manual co. ("we", "us"). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms, our Privacy policy and our Delivery & Returns policy. Nothing in these terms affects your rights under Hong Kong consumer law.

2. Products
We describe and photograph our products as accurately as we can. Many pieces are washed, dyed or finished by hand, so colour, texture and fading vary from piece to piece, and colours on screen may differ from the garment. These variations are part of the product, not defects. Each product's size guide lists its measurements; allow 1–3 cm for manual measuring and manufacturing tolerances.

3. Prices and payment
Prices are in Hong Kong dollars (HKD) unless another currency is shown at checkout. Prices do not include import duties or taxes; how these are handled for international orders is set out on our Delivery & Returns policy. Prices can change at any time; you pay the price shown at checkout when you place your order. Payment is taken when you place your order and is processed by our payment providers; we do not store your card details.

4. Orders
Your order confirmation email confirms that we have received your order. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock, a price or description is shown in error, or we suspect fraud or misuse of a discount. If we cancel an order, we refund the full amount to your original payment method.

5. Pre-orders and made-to-order items
Some items are sold as pre-orders or need production time, such as hand-dyed pieces. The product page shows the expected dispatch time. Pre-order items are charged when you order and dispatched when ready. We will email you if a dispatch date changes.

6. Delivery
Delivery options, charges, free-shipping thresholds and in-store pick-up are set out on our Delivery & Returns policy. Delivery times are estimates. The items are your responsibility once they are delivered or collected.

7. Returns and exchanges
Returns and exchanges follow our Delivery & Returns policy, which forms part of these terms.

8. Discount codes and promotions
Discount codes and promotions have their own conditions, cannot be exchanged for cash and, unless stated otherwise, cannot be combined with other offers. We may change or end a promotion at any time.

Welcome discount
Our welcome discount (code NEW50) takes HKD 50 off a first order of HKD 400 or more. It is for new customers who subscribe to our newsletter, can be used once per customer, and cannot be combined with other discounts.

If we find that a returning customer has placed an order under a different email address to use it, for example with the same name, delivery address, phone number or payment details as an earlier order, we reserve the right to cancel that order without prior notice. Any payment for a cancelled order is refunded in full to the original payment method.

9. Your account
If you create an account, keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account; tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.

10. Our content
All photographs, designs, text, logos and graphics on this site belong to (empty) manual co. or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or use them commercially without our written permission.

11. Use of the site
Do not misuse the site, including fraud, attempts to disrupt it, automated scraping or posting unlawful content. We may suspend access for anyone who does.

12. Liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses, or for delays caused by events outside our control, such as courier disruption, severe weather or public holidays. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place an order applies to that order.

14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the courts of Hong Kong have jurisdiction.
